Toomer did it again!!

Like I predicted the Giants beat the Broncos, it was a tough game, but Manning last second pass to Amani Toomer (yes, he is a Bronco killer) gave the Giants the victory. Now the four teams in the NFC East are tied with 4 wins and 2 losses.

So this sets the stage for and NFC East showdown next weekend, Giants and Redskins will play for the division lead, Redskins ripped the Niners 52-17 their offense is clicking and their defense is one of the best in the league. It will be a tough game (which one is not?), Giants need to win to earn respect in their division and around the league. One more thing that makes this game special is that my brother is a Redskins' fan.

El sábado fuimos a jugar a casa de Oscar y Dhania, estuvimos ahí hasta altas horas de la madrugada, hasta las 5 am. para ser exactos, y como el viernes también regresé a la casa como a esa hora pues me hacen falta algunas horas de sueño. Intentaré recuperar esas horas de sueño a partir de hoy y hasta el miércoles. En el trabajo estaré durmiéndome si no estoy muy ocupado, hoy no fue el caso, los lunes son pesados.

Mientras hago este update escucho “Microphone Fiend” de Eric B & Rakim, gran rola de ese dueto legendario, RATM le hizo un cover hace algunos años, no es tan mala su versión pero definitivamente me quedo con la original. Algo que creo no haber mencionado es mi afición por el hip-hop. Recomiendo escuchar Scratchamama todos los jueves a las 20:00 hrs en ibero90.9, es el mejor programa de hip-hop de la radio, alguna vez escuché un programa de hip-hop en 98.5 y que malo que es, evítenlo a toda costa.

Hay quien dice que soy intolerante en cuestiones musicales, es probable, pero también es cierto que nunca he escuchado un buen argumento por parte de la gente que escucha algo diferente a lo que yo escucho, incluso he escuchado declaraciones ridículas, decepcionantes y frustrantes, tales como: “pues venden muchos discos”, “a mucha gente le gusta”, “los que tu oyes dicen lo mismo”, etc… cuando he replicado a estos argumentos me he ganado motes como el de arrogante, pedante e intolerable. En fin supongo que eventualmente la gente se da cuenta que no todo en este mundo es el televisor.
